How can we help?

Managing your subscription

Your OSO Books subscription is managed here on osobooks.com, and linked to the email address you used to sign up for your subscription. Users of your business toolkit, using your private oso.business link, will not have access to subscription settings via their user accounts.

From the subscription management profile, you can:

Accessing your profile
1
Click the Login button, here on osobooks.com

The login button is located in the upper right corner of the page, on both desktop and mobile devices.

2
Input the email address you used to sign up, and your password

If you cant remember your password, visit the Password recovery page.

View subscription details

On some subscription types, limits are placed on the number of user accounts and invoices emailed to customers with payment links, and will be automatically updated as you work within your package. The subscription details provide an overview of current state, such as renewal date and data remaining.

1
Select the Subscription tab from your Profile
2
Scroll Package details heading

It is typically located the top of the page as you login, but may be further down if any alerts are present that require your attention.

This is informational only, settings cannot be changed unless a subscription change is made.

Customising your oso.business URL

Your business toolkit is accessed via your own private URL, which can be customised at any time.

1
Select the Subscription tab from your Profile
2
Scroll to the Customise your URL category
3
Update your preferred prefix in the input box, and click Save

Use letters, numbers and hyphen (-) only. Your new preferred prefix may already be in use! If so try a variation until you find free combination that works for you.

4
Test the new URL in your browser

The change will take effect immediately.

Managing user accounts

On Professional and Enterprise plans, multiple user accounts are supported. From your subscription management profile, you can create, update and reset passwords. Note that for data integrity and auditing, user accounts cannot be removed, however they can be renamed and repurposed should your business require it

1
Select the Subscription tab from your Profile
2
Scroll to the Manage Users category
3
Each user account and their associated username is summarised.
4
To update user details, such as username and email address, click Update Details next to the corresponding user account

A popup window is displayed containing editable items.

When you are ready to commit changes, click Save Changes.

5
To reset a user password, click Reset Password next to the corresponding user account

A popup window is displayed confirming the request.

Click Reset Password to proceed. An email will be sent to the email address associated with this account to initiate the password reset process.

6
To create a new user account, click the add Add User button.   Pro

A popup window is displayed.

Input a username, email address and display name. An email will be sent to the nominated email address to initiate the password setup process.

Configuring Notification Settings

As administrator of your business toolkit, you can opt to be notified if conditions are triggered or changes take place. Notifications will be delivered to the email address associated with your subscription management profile.

1
Select the Subscription tab from your Profile
2
Scroll to the Notification Settings category
3
Toggle the notification setting you wish to change.

The change is automatically saved and will take effect immediately.

Configuring custom SMTP Server settings

On Professional and Enterprise subscriptions, you can optionally have invoices issued from OSO Books to clients using your own email address. To avoid impacting your toolkit functionality, settings you input will not take effect until a test email is determined to have been successfully sent.

1
Select the Subscription tab from your Profile
2
Scroll to the Notification Settings category
3
Toggle the Send emails using my own email address option, to enabled.

Configuration input prompts are now displayed below the setting.

3
Input your Email address, SMTP server details, user and password, and click Test.

A prompt is displayed indicating the outcome of the test.

If an error is displayed, check your details, update where required, and try again.

3
When your details have been successfully tested, a prompt will request you to confirm receipt of a test email.

Check your email to confirm you have received a test email. This should take place immediately but due to locational delays, allow up to 10 minutes before testing again. Double check your junk mail folder before retesting too.

3
Click Yes, I have received the email, to save settings.

All emails sent from your business toolkit, such as invoices and customer reminders, will now be sent from your email address.

Subscription Billing History

You can view your subscription history and view copy of the purchase transaction record here. As your subscription is renewed, additional history records will be added to the table.

1
Select the Billing tab from your Profile
2
Scroll to the Billing History category
3
Your billing history is displayed.

Click the receipt icon corresponding to the transaction you wish to view, to download a PDF copy of your payment.
