Invoices generated with OSO Books can contain payment details for manual payment (such as cash sale or direct bank transfer) and/or support integrated payment via credit card (via Stripe) and PayPal through your oso.business payment gateway.
This guide walks through:
OSO Books supports credit card payment for invoices via your private oso.business payment gateway, using Stripe.com. The service is seamlessly integrated, with customers simply clicking the payment link in your email or invoice, and entering credit card details.
To enable credit card payment via Stripe, sign up at Stripe.com, and enable the Stripe option in your toolkit using the procedure above. New accounts are generally ready to start receiving payment within 15 minutes, and the service is supported in all regions that OSO Books supports.
Use the below procedure to enable Stripe payment for your toolkit.

Login to your business toolkit
If you are unsure where or how to do this, refer to the accessing your toolkit guide. |

Click the SETUP link in the navigation toolbar.

Click Payment Options from the Setup navigation panel.

Set the payment method you wish to enable to Yes.
For this example, we will enable Credit Card payments via Stripe. By setting up a payment method under setup, you enable this payment option to be enabled or disabled per each invoice generated.

Scroll down to the payment detail summary, two new options are presented to enable stripe payment. You will need to apply the relevant keys associated with your Stripe.com account into each field.
For help locating your keys, jump to the next section, and return back to this step when you are ready to enter them.

A popup window is displayed, prompting for input of the option you have selected. Input a new value and click Edit.
Ensure the keys you enter are live keys, for example: sk_live_(id), pk_live_(id).

A confirmation prompt is displayed.
Verify both secret and publishable keys are entered correctly. Credit card payment is now available on all future invoices generated, if you select the option during invoice generation!

Stripe payment to the bank account you nominated when signing up to Stripe.com, is determined by the API keys you enter. When a credit card payment is made via your oso.business payment gateway, we interface with Stripe using your keys to ensure payment is directed to you.

Ensure the keys you retrieve for use with OSO Books are production keys, containing the word live!
